Thank you for considering a small donation

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 1:35 pm

Thank you for considering making a small donation of 5 euros per year to Finnish School! You’re helping make a great site even better, and you’re taking a big step forward towards learning the Finnish language.

By donating and becoming a Finnish School member, you’ll have access to the entire site, as well as get priority support via e-mail and have the ability to test out new Finnish School features before they’re released. Click here to learn why you should donate and become a member.

If you wish to make a donation but haven’t created signed up yet for Finnish School, please do so now, you’ll need to know your username when donating.

Finnish School can accept donations in two ways, either Pay Pal or Bank Transfer…

If you’re outside of Finland and/or you’d like to use a credit card, PayPal is the easiest way.  PayPal accepts all major credit cards.  It’s fast and simple to use. If you’re inside Finland, a Bank Transfer is the best option for you.

If you are unable to use PayPal or Bank Transfer, please e-mail me (phil >>at>> finlandforthought.net) and we’ll try to use another method.

  1. before clicking this link.. I read the comments and they were very strange. It was like being in an alternate reality.

are they being translated and thats what they translate to? its just scary and weird. put an end to it.

  2. I would just like to express my disappointment at the fact you have to pay for this site. There are so many sites out there you have to pay for and i don’t think learning a language should be expensive-it should be encouraged. I am a 15 year old school girl, so paying for things online isn’t exactly easy! Yes, i know it’s not much, but it’s too much when you can’t pay. I would happily give you the money if i could, but i can’t-as usual. Looks like i’ll have to try another site. Damn you i thought this was a good one too!!! :’(
    Very disappointed, Roanne x

  4. I cannot believe the prior comments for this posting! 5 Euro is a trifling amount to ask for a years subscription. It equates to $6.50, £4.5 or just over 15 Real. You couldn’t buy a paperback for that & certainly not a Rosetta Stone or Linguaphone course. So stop whinging you teen-agers; stop expecting something for nothing all the time & either save up or ask an adult to pay by Pay Pal. Put it on your Birthday Present list, or something!! Or are you actually not that serious about learning Finnish & looking for an excuse?

  5. true marcus :D

I’m soon going to donate, and I’m only 17, i just asked my mom if I could get a membership, and she said it was ok because I actually did something useful :)

and 5 euros is nothing! :P

the fact that you have “free” some places on this website is great! :D because it makes the page get more hits, which makes you more likely to get more donations, and that makes you able to make the page better and better :D :D I have to say that I appreciate your work with this site, and i hope you keep it up! :D

    Hyvä! ;D

  7. Hey there,

This is an amazing site. The perfect way to learn a language. I used to speak finnish, but lost it over the years. Will use your school to recover it. Very glad to make the donation!

    Many thanks!

  8. For me 5euro is a dinner for two days or a ticket for a bus to university which is 100kilometers far, so I cant pay, I would but now it’s just impossible. 5e= about 22złote, f.eg. bread costs 2zł. Everything depends of where you are. I know that in Germany its nothing, in most countries of UE you buy nothing for 5 euro, but not in Poland :/
