  2. Hi there: I wanted to make mention of your site on our blog. Do you have any special plans for 2010? I done a few the quizzes.

I think it is great that you offer some of it for free and then request a donation for those who plan to use it regulary.

It looks like you have done a lot of work on this site.

    Kudos to you.

  5. Can anyone describe the exercises on the upper levels. I’m looking for audio to listen to. Or is it just vocabulary drills? Happy to donate just wondering what you get.

  6. Hi there,

I just came through this site through google, and found it useful. One issue I faced when trying the vocabulary was; when I selected “English to Finnish&Finnish to English”, it was not possible to indicate whether the given word is originally Finnish or English :-) e.g. “He” can be English or Finnish (They), or “Me” can be English or Finnish. So I couldnt get whether I need to translate a Finnish word or English.

    Good Luck,
    M

  7. I’m still awaiting access. I know it was only 5 Euros (But I actually donated 15). If there is a technical issue or another problem, I understand. I like the program, but would like to get access to the other sections.

    Thanks.

  9. I have been using this site a long time since there are on alternatives. However it is filled with bugs. These need correction:
-The same word will occur several times in tid same chapter. This means that when I am asked to translate “cry” I don’t know if I should answer “itkeä” or “itkestellä” as I don’t know which is tid correct answer this time. This makes passing exams pretty impossible as you don’t only need knowledge but also luck.
-Trying to work around the above problem by selecting either word as easy has on effect at all.
-When exams are passed the wrong ones are marked. For example when I pass exam 50 exam 25 will be marked as completed though I have never done 25.
-Words are randomized poorly (or too well). I may have done 80 words during a chapter exercise and only then am I asked about word X.

These are all problems that are easy to fix with a few hours of coding so get on with it!
